MN Design Team Update

Implementation Committee

Mission: To develop and promote community improvement strategies based on the shared vision created through the Minnesota Design Team Process as well as from new input from other sources. This group will facilitate community resources and be a catalyst for action in the Greater Maple Plain community.

WHCC continues to be a key partner with the city of Maple Plain in moving ahead on MN Design Team projects for the commumity.  In addition to providing representation for the steering committee, the chamber is planning to take the lead on a downtown beautification project that will include benches, planters, and banners in keeping with the design team suggestions.  The chamber will be working to fundraise and implement the project in summer 2007.  To participate in this project, please contact the chamber: info@whcc-mn.org.
